Once upon a cyberspace, children explored the world through libraries, bedtime tales and story books. Books are still around, but they are looking different. As technology puts media access into children’s pockets and bedrooms, how do content makers stay connected with connected kids?
Get the answers at The Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC) in Singapore from 26 - 28 May 2011. Organised by the National Book Development Council of Singapore and The Arts House, this festival is back - bigger, better and bolder.

Student Picture Book Illustration Competition 2011

The 30th Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) has been attracting more than one million visitors every year and exceeded the two million mark last year.
This year, the Malaysian Book Council with key industry organisations will be expanding the Trade & Copyright Centre (TCC) and invivitng publishers and agents to the TCC to buy and sell rights.
With the sponsorship of the Malaysian Book Council, SCBWI in Malaysia will be having a booth to promote our members as well as the Society. In addition, we will be having an exhibition of illustrations by selected members together with a catalogue.
We hope this will help our members gain more visibility and that they will be contacted by publishers and agents.
